UV coating with white spots and pinhole causes and solutions

Phenomenon: There is a small hole in the cured varnish layer.

Cause 1: The number of anilox roller lines is too high and the coating is too thin.
Solution: Use an appropriate number of anilox rollers to increase the coating thickness.

Cause 2: The leveling property of the UV varnish is poor.
Solution: Add a small amount of suitable leveling agent, wetting additives.

Cause 3: Too much non-reactive diluent is added.
Solution: A small amount of smoothing aid can be added. The dilution is preferably a reactive diluent that participates in the reaction.

Reason 4: There are more dust on the print surface.
Solution: The production environment and printed surface should be kept clean.

Reason No. 5: There is debris in the light oil for a long time.
Solution: Filter Varnish.

Cause 6: The drying speed of the varnish is slow.
Solution: Fully dry.
Reason 7: The speed is too fast and the anilox roll has become empty.
Solution: Reduce the speed and let the anilox roller fully ink.
