As one of the series of celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), the preparatory work for the climb of the Everest event began after the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In 2010, the school’s Everest climbing team was formally established. After more than one year of hard training, 30 candidates were finalized.
According to the plan, the Everest Mountaineering team will depart for Tibet in batches on this and next two days; by April 11th, the team will conduct adaptive training in Lhasa; from April 12 to May 9, the bead will be transferred. In peak areas, on-site training; between May 10 and 17, the mountaineering team will choose the opportunity to peak as the weather conditions; return to the Han time is scheduled around May 25.
