The process of making a set of qualified and successful resin plates is not simple. The purchase of plate-making equipment is a key. The performance of the equipment is excellent and stable, and the production is much easier.
Resin plate-making machine (also known as "trademark plate-making machine") at present, many domestically produced brands have been fully competent, the main functions are: printing, washing, drying. Main production steps:
1. Exposure. The plate-making lamp should use the genuine high-quality and efficient special UVA ultraviolet tube. The wavelength penetration and uniformity of the light directly affect the plate-making effect, and more brands such as PHILIPS are used. All lamps should be replaced together when they are aging.
Exposure time varies from machine to machine and from plate to plate. Too much time will cause the corners of graphics and text to lose corners or paste; if too little, it will easily lose content or become imprinted when printing and printing. Before using, you should obtain relevant reference data or technical guidance from the plate-making machine manufacturer and resin plate supplier.
2. Vacuum. A vacuum pressure gauge should be placed on the plate-making machine, which generally needs to be> -0.08mpa to achieve -0.1mpa. The vacuum is not strong enough, uneven, and the gas exhaust is not clean, which will directly make the plate in production scrapped and cannot be remedied. Sometimes the strength is sufficient and the exhaust system is good, which does not mean you can sit back and relax. When making some larger versions, you may find that the air between the vacuum membrane and the film will be difficult to wipe or go back and forth. At this time, you should think about: A. Are air guides used? B. Is the vacuum membrane damaged? C. Is the vacuum membrane too small or unable to be compressed?
After closing the pumping platform, continue to pay attention to the value on the vacuum pressure indicator. The dryness and transparency of the vacuum film are also very important. Normally, apply non-hair removal, non-marking wipes (such as non-woven cloth) with industrial alcohol (do not use medical alcohol, which will corrode the vacuum film), and try to avoid too much environment dust. The vacuum membrane is usually replaced every 3-6 months.
3. Wash the plate. Generally, the water temperature is 30-40 ° C and the washing time is 50-90 seconds.
The requirements: A. The brush should be soft and hard, with high flatness. In general, the brush wire of resin plate-making machine is Φ0.05-Φ0.07mm, and at the same time, it must have a certain toughness. If it is too hard, it will easily wash the plate. B. The brush and the plate mounting platform should be smooth and even pressure, otherwise the washed version will be different shades or partial washing, even bad version. C. Water heating. This function is not needed in warmer and hot seasons or areas. When the weather is colder, the water temperature is preferably 30-34 ℃. If the water temperature is too low to wash the plate, if it is too high, it is easy to wash the graphics and text, keeping the temperature uniform, and not too much difference. D. The self-adhesive version of washing version. Standard plate-making machines are equipped with automatic plate-absorbing devices that can be used permanently without double-sided adhesive plate washing. It only needs to be pasted gently when washing the plate, easy to paste and tear. Because the double-sided tape is affixed every time a plate is washed, it wastes materials, time, increases workload, affects efficiency, not to mention, the more important thing is that it is easy to tear but difficult to paste. Normally, it takes about 15 minutes to make a plate under normal circumstances, and it often takes double or more time to tear off the double-sided adhesive residue on the back of the plate, even accidentally crushing or damaging the plate. Graphic. Self-priming boards (also known as self-adhesives) are currently mainly imported. Their cost is very low but the resulting benefits are very high. The most used ones are German DEP self-priming boards.
4. Drying. Usually 50-60 ℃, bake for 15 minutes. The plate should be pre-opened before the plate is washed. The plate after drying should be dried as soon as possible, and the water content of the plate should be evaporated and dried as soon as possible. The temperature of the oven should be uniform. If it is too high, it will deform the graphics or the plate as if it is too long. It is best to use a lattice mesh for the drying cabinet, so that the back of the plate is not easy to remove water, and it is easy to air dry and circulate the hot air evenly.
5. Stereotypes. Immediately after exposure, the time is generally the same as the printing time. This move is used to strengthen the graphics and text, and the graphics and the substrate are better connected, so as to be more resistant to printing. Too much time will make the plate prone to cracks and not durable.
