Three modules reproduce the original color

At the drupa exhibition in Düsseldorf in 2004, KPG launched a new color management system for the printing and publishing industry. This system enables customers to automatically perform the entire process from color acquisition to color output. With color management operations, customers can benefit from increased efficiency, cost savings and high quality images.

KPG's Color Fidelity system consists of three modules that make it easy for customers to obtain high-quality digital images, color conversions, and the predictability of image colors from image acquisition to print or digital media. According to user needs, customers can choose different combinations of three modules.

For image processing professionals, this color hi-fi system is perfect and is the best complement to the current popular image art software, providing a consistent solution for the transmission and proofing of RGB and CMYK files. In the digital workflow, a file has multiple uses, but the ultimate goal is to make the final product truly reproduce the original color.

Module I - Automatically converts to a selected color space

Module I includes easy-to-use conversion cameras and scanning software. Customers can generate and deliver high-quality images. The colors of the images are ready for output.

Module II - Dynamic color display during color editing

The Module II is a workstation for viewing and editing color calibrations, with high-quality soft proofing displays, and supports industry-standard tools for editing images and pages, including Adobe's Photoshop and Acroba applications. The technology is based on the accurate color viewing technology already available in the KPG Matchprint Virtual Proofing System, allowing users to view and edit the exact color of a job on the screen.
The system is designed for studios, they view jobs with a high degree of color accuracy; they are used by prepress service providers who manage the color of images for different outputs; they are used by publishers to see the jobs Accurate presentation.

Module III - Exact Color Conversion of Pages with ROOM (One RIP, Multiple Outputs)

Module III eliminates the risks associated with workflows that always result from font substitution, page element passing errors, and other RIPs in the process. At the same time, the module III can make the page's flat tone color accurate, and use the printing preset value (such as SWOP to SNAP) to convert the image and the page. This module provides the opportunity to export the entire page (including images and linework) to the specified color space and file format. In addition to its original purpose, the module III is well suited for the preparation of printing color images in different ways. For example, the original offset document can also be converted into a printed document suitable for a gravure printing apparatus.
