Talking about the Characteristic Requirements of Aluminum-plastic Composite Hose Packing

At present, the total use of hose packaging in the world exceeds 18 billion, of which aluminum-plastic composite hose accounts for nearly 1/4.
Aluminum-plastic composite hose is mainly used in the following five areas: First, medicine and health products. It is the largest proportion in the packaging of various ointments. Second, beauty cosmetics. Third, daily necessities. The most typical is toothpaste. Fourth, seasonings. Such as mustard, tomato sauce and so on. Fifth, industrial supplies. Such as industrial grease, adhesives and so on.
In terms of use, aluminum-plastic hoses have the following characteristics:
First, good hygiene.
With the improvement of people’s living standards and health awareness, the requirements for the hygiene of products have become higher and higher. The material of the inner and outer layers of the aluminum-plastic composite hose is generally made of food-grade polyethylene, and the surface hygiene conditions are strictly controlled during the processing. In particular, packaged sauce-type foods require sterilization and aseptic filling because they are easily fermented, produce a large amount of gas, and have a large internal pressure.
Sterile filling itself presents a very high health index for packaging materials. In order to ensure its hygienic properties, the printing of the hose material is usually carried out in a printed manner, that is, the printing is compounded in the middle of the sheet. This is because inks, even food-grade inks, have a certain degree of influence on the content. However, India and India will have a certain impact on the composite strength, which requires the material in the design and production of strict measurement and monitoring.
Second, moderate character.
The aluminum-plastic composite hose packaging should have a good appearance and full shape, and at the same time, the hand sensing is more comfortable when squeezing. Its material contains a relatively thick aluminum foil, so that it will not rebound after it is squeezed, air will not enter the hose. This is important because, for some contents, the oxygen in the air will make it short of its shelf life or even deteriorate.
Third, the high barrier hose packaging content are mostly afraid of light, oxygen and moisture; internal components are highly volatile, external odor easily absorbed. This presents a high barrier to packaging materials. In aluminum-plastic composite hoses, the thickness of aluminum foil is generally more than 25μm to ensure that its barrier performance reaches 100%.
Fourth, good tensile strength Because the aluminum-plastic composite hose package requires the breakage rate to be zero during use and storage, therefore, the hose substrate itself must have good tensile strength. Otherwise, if the package is squeezed to a certain extent or it swells due to the gas produced by the contents, it may break and contaminate other products.
Fifth, good welding strength The strength of the aluminum plastic hose is also directly related to the welding strength of the hose. The aluminum foil in the aluminum-plastic composite hose cannot be extruded at one time. It must be formed into sheets and then welded by ultrasonic welding to form a hose like a seamed steel pipe.
Sixth, a relatively high heat seal strength and a relatively low heat seal temperature.
The high heat seal strength helps improve the pressure resistance of the product. Because the hose packaging is not completed in one use, especially toothpaste, cosmetics, etc., it usually takes several tens or even hundreds of repeated extrusions. At the same time, in order to increase the production speed, it is also necessary for the hose itself to have a relatively low heat sealing temperature. Because the lower the temperature, the lower the energy consumption, the faster the packaging speed. Reasonably choose materials, increase heat seal strength and heat seal temperature. Because the lower the temperature, the lower the energy consumption, the faster the packaging speed. Reasonable choice of materials will greatly help the improvement of the heat seal strength and the reduction of the heat seal temperature.
Seven, aluminum plastic hose material itself must have better processing performance.
This is mainly reflected in the fact that in order to ensure accurate dimensions and certain packaging speeds, the inner and outer layers of the sheet must have a suitable coefficient of friction, usually the coefficient of friction of the inner layer should be lower than the outer layer. The coefficient of friction control is very precise. There are two ways to control the coefficient of friction: one is to add a slip agent in the film; the other is to treat the surface of the film to increase its roughness or reduce its coefficient of friction. Because the slip agent will cause some degree of contamination of the contents, the better way is the latter. (Tian Min)
