Sidel Unveils Mystery of Combi Machine for Carbonated Beverages

The new Combi Eurotronica FM-C machine from Sidel has achieved a number of performance enhancements, including high speed, precise filling, flexibility and easy assembly and disassembly. This new Combi for carbonated beverages combines SidelTM blow molding technology with SimonazziTM capacity meter filling technology.

Since the merger of Sidel and Simonazi, how to make the perfect combination of the two technologies has become the goal of the newly established Sidel Group. After nine months of hard work, the two companies' design departments collaborated to develop and design this new Combi machine for carbonated beverages. On a single piece of equipment, the Combi Eurotronica FM-C combines SBO UniversalTM's blow-molding technology with SimonazziTM capacity meter filling technology, achieving a high output rate of 61,200 bottles per hour.

This new Combi Eurotronica FM-C device inherits Simonazzi's expertise and technical excellence in the filling field. Until now, its predecessor, Eurotronica
FM-C fillers have sold more than 50 units. The device has many remarkable features. Each meter measuring the filling volume has its own printed circuit board to control the opening and closing of the filling valve and maintains continuous communication with the central controller of the device via infrared technology. This allows for accurate filling, rapid and continuous data transfer, and rapid delivery of filling settings to the filling valve. The Combi also incorporates Sidel's latest technology. For example, reducing the weight of the bottle enables it to adopt a new petal-shaped bottle bottom design; the pressure of the preform blowing process in the mold is reduced to 28 bar, thereby reducing energy consumption. Another technological advance is reflected in shorter bottle conversion time, which can satisfy the bottler's demand for more functionality.

Finally, the filling part of the Combi Eurotronica FM-C equipment is also equipped with a Combi housing separate from the equipment frame, which improves its disassembly and maintenance performance.
Complete equipment series. This device for carbonated beverages is a powerful addition to Sidel's Combi range of devices. Prior to this, the series featured non-inflatable drinks, sensitive fillings, edible oils, sauces and washings. Agent and other liquid Combi equipment. By the end of 2006, the company will sell more than 200 Sidel Combi machines. This series of equipment can be equipped with 6 to 34 blowing molds, achieving an output rate between 10,000 to 61,200 bottles per hour.

The launch of the Combi Eurotronica FM-C model in August 2006 caused a huge stir. The large food industry group company showed great interest in this new device. Sidel Group is one of the world's leading suppliers of liquid food packaging equipment. Its products consist of five brands: the world-leading SidelTM plastic bottle blowing equipment; SimonazziTM filling equipment; GeboTM conveyor equipment; AlfaTM stickers. Marker and CermexTM backend equipment.

The Sidel Group employs 5,000 people worldwide and is owned by the Tetra Laval Group.
