Lock high frequency metal detector

Lock Inspection Systems has launched a new high-frequency metal detector in the Asian market.


The MET 30+ hf detector uses a crystal-controlled high-frequency oscillator that is durable and reliable at the highest sensitivity. The device is designed primarily for small food and bakery food industries and uses 875KHz frequency (four times higher than standard food industry detectors) to detect dried foods such as biscuits or chips. The MET 30+ hf does not need to reset machine parameters for each product, increasing efficiency and operating speed while reducing downtime.

At present, the high-frequency metal detector is a horizontally-mounted device that can be installed at the end of the production line for the detection of the final product after drying, screening and packaging. Lock has also developed Waferthin-type metal detectors and vertical drop-type metal detectors for space-constrained products such as coffee particles, sugar and cocoa.
