The one-month trial of furniture trade-in has ended on November 30th. The Municipal Commission of Commerce announced yesterday that in the 30 days of the implementation of the old-for-new policy, the five pilot sales enterprises in the city completed sales of 150 million yuan for trade-in. Furniture trade-in sales accounted for 26.3% of the total sales of similar furniture. According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Commerce Commission, although the current furniture replacement is no extension plan, but the Jimei Home, Red Star Macalline, Chengwai Chengjia Plaza, Real Home and Lanjingli Home Pilots have taken the initiative to “renew” , continue to pay 5% of the subsidy.

According to the data, within 25 days, the pilot enterprises sold more than 20,000 pieces of old-for-new furniture, and completed the old-for-new sales amount of 150 million yuan. The sales accounted for 26.3% of the total sales of similar furniture in the store. In the last week alone, the sales volume of old-for-new trades exceeded 7,000 pieces, and the sales amount reached 46 million yuan.

In the process of trade-in, the problems of furniture recycling and invoicing were gradually solved by pilot enterprises. Most of the pilot companies are obliged to require all participating manufacturers to provide paid recycling services below the market price in response to the remote recycling of furniture. At the same time, the invoice issued by the store must be opened within one day, and the invoice issued by the furniture manufacturer must be opened within three days to ensure that the consumer receives the subsidy on time.

The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Commerce Commission said that although the pilot sales had been closed last month, the final policy evaluation results will not be made until January next year due to the follow-up work of submitting vouchers and applying for subsidies. Based on the assessment results, it will be determined whether the furniture replacement subsidy will be promoted or reopened.
