Frank Kyger, Carrick Dairy’s vice president of sales and marketing, said that Shake’s proximity to milkshake products, the challenge for product packaging is to differentiate it from traditional milk beverages through packaging, giving people the feeling of “banquet drinks†and creating this. The secret of this effect is a shrink sleeve with a dynamic pattern. On the label, there is a cartoon pattern of a very conspicuous boy, easy to identify and easy to attract the target customer. This pattern is effective on the shelf and can stimulate purchases. In the Shake series, four flavored products (Salz, vanilla, premium chocolate, and cookie vanilla) have different labels.
In addition to the use of shrink sleeves for Carrick's milk products, this packaging format is also used on the 12-ounce bottled milkshake products. The high shrinkage glycol PVC film produced by the Klockner Group of the United States can achieve about 50% shrinkage required at the bottleneck. The film was printed by Seal-It with 10 color gravure.
