AIC plans to introduce thermochromic ink for shrink film

AIC, a French thermochromic ink developer, is a subsidiary of Sun Chemicals and recently introduced a new type of thermochromic ink specifically designed for shrink film packaging printing.

After eight months of research and development, the ink was jointly tested with three cold drink manufacturers from Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The official launch of the product is scheduled for June 2005. It is expected that one of the three testers will conduct a large number of commercial applications of the ink before the end of this year.

The ink is designed for shrink film packaging and printing and is ideally suited for the following product packaging applications: yogurt, dairy products, cold drinks, and children's dairy snacks.

AIC was founded a year ago and developed thermochromic inks with Sun Chemical. It will produce a smaller quantity of ink, and the larger amount of ink will all be produced by solar chemistry.

In the next three years, the development of other types of thermochromic inks for special applications is AIC's goal. The company is currently developing inks specifically for cosmetic packaging. It is used to print pictures instead of text.

Gas Grill

A gas grill is a type of outdoor grill that uses propane or natural gas as a fuel source to cook food. It typically has a metal cooking grate, burners, and a hood or lid to trap heat and smoke. Gas grills are popular because they are easy to use and offer precise temperature control, making them ideal for grilling a variety of foods, from burgers and hot dogs to vegetables and seafood. They can also be used year-round, as they do not require charcoal or wood for fuel. Some gas grills also have additional features such as side burners, rotisserie attachments, and built-in thermometers.
