Digital printing machines, which belong to the category of printing equipment, also known as flat-panel printers, can realize the printing, plate making and full-color images in a true sense. Digital printing machines can be said to be the replacement products of traditional printing machines.
This article focuses on the principle of digital printing machine imaging:
Electrophotography
Digital printing machine electrophotography, also known as electrostatic imaging, is a method of applying a laser scanning method to form an electrostatic latent image on a photoconductor and then applying a charge effect of the charged toner and the electrostatic latent image, and transferring the toner image to the substrate for printing.
2. Jet imaging
The ink is selectively ejected from the fine nozzle onto the substrate at a rate to complete the ink image reproduction. Digital printer inkjet printing is divided into continuous inkjet printing and drop-on-demand inkjet printing. The continuous inkjet system is applied pressure to make the ink flow through the pores to form a continuous ink flow. The high-speed ink flows to make the droplets after the small droplets are charged. The charged ink droplets can be sprayed onto the substrate under the control of the charge plate. The status constitutes a printed graphic.
3. Electrocoagulation imaging
Digital printing electromechanical coagulation imaging is the process of condensing the ink through the electrochemical reaction between the process electrodes and fixing the image on the surface of the imaging cylinder. The ink in the blank area where no electrochemical reaction occurs remains in the liquid state and can be scraped off by the process scraper, and the image on the surface of the drum which is composed of the fixed ink can be transferred to the substrate after the process pressure to complete the printing.
4. Magnetic recording imaging
The magnetic recording image of the digital printing machine is a magnetized magnetic material that is oriented to form a magnetic latent image under the influence of an external magnetic field. The magnetic toner and the magnetic latent image are mutually interacted under magnetic force to realize development. The magnetic toner is transferred to the substrate to form an image. This type of approach is usually only used for black and white printing.
