Because the heavy alkali water from the filtration process is large and the content is about 18% to 20%, it is very unfavorable for the normal operation of the calciner. To this end, we decided to pass the heavy alkali through a centrifuge for secondary filtration to further reduce the heavy alkali moisture. In 1997, our company introduced the horizontal two-stage pusher centrifuge produced by the German sieveli company, the model is SHS 100 Z / 1090 IK. After more than four years of extensive technical transformation and continuous adjustment operation, it has become an indispensable and important part of our company's soda ash production system.
1 Brief introduction of SHS 100 Z / 1090 IK centrifuge 1.1 Working principle of centrifuge Horizontal piston pusher centrifuge is a widely used continuous running two-stage pusher centrifuge. The drum of the centrifuge is driven by a motor Through the high-speed rotation of the triangle belt drive, the material is continuously added to the centrifuge through the feed screw and the feeding funnel. The feeding funnel rotates at the same speed as the drum. In the feeding funnel, the material rotation speed is continuously increased and evenly distributed On the entire inner drum, under the effect of centrifugal force, most of the liquid is removed, and the solids are trapped by the filter screen to form a filter cake; the inner drum not only rotates, but also reciprocates. The filter cake on the inner drum is pushed forward to the outer drum intermittently, and after continuing dehydration, it is moved to the discharge area.
1.2 The structural characteristics of the centrifuge The machine is mainly composed of seven parts: the base, the oil tank, the casing, the inner and outer drums, the special shaft, the hydraulic device, and the feed screw. The base is divided into left and right parts, one part is the fuel tank, the other part is a rectangular groove, and the internal filling specific gravity of the groove is greater than 3 t / m. The filler is used to prevent vibration of the machine. The machine base is connected to the foundation by four damping rubber rings. The inner and outer drums and fabric funnels are installed in the casing, which are connected together by a special shaft. This special axis not only rotates, but also reciprocates. The inner and outer drums and the cloth funnel rotate at the same speed under the drive of the shaft, and the inner drum also reciprocates. The outer edge of the cloth funnel and the front periphery of the inner drum are equipped with scrapers with a gap of 0.3mm. There are washing pipes inside and outside the drum for washing machine. The feed screw passes through the casing, and the front end reaches into the cloth funnel. The reciprocating movement of the special shaft is realized by the piston movement of the hydraulic device. The rotation movement is driven by the drum motor through the triangle belt. Lubricating oil comes from hydraulic oil.
1.3 Main performance parameters of the centrifuge Production capacity: 37.5 t / h (outlet of the centrifuge); drum inner diameter: 930/1010/1010 mm; maximum speed: 1 100 r / min, operating speed: 945 r / min, 1 000 r / min; separation factor: 535/600; drum motor: N = 55 kW, 1 475 r / rain; oil pump motor: N = 45 kW, 2 955 r / min; oil pump: SMPA 120, R 460Q W2; feed motor N = 4 kW, 71 r / min, maximum allowable vibration value: 180 mm / s.
2 Process operation of centrifuge
2.1 Production principle and process flow The heavy alkali from the filtering position is transferred to each centrifuge through a belt conveyor. The heavy alkali passes through the unloader through the slide pipe to the feed screw, and is rotated into the cloth funnel, and the material is speeded up in the machine. And rotating at the same speed as the drum, part of the water is removed to form a filtrate. The filtrate flows through the filtrate outlet and flows into the alkali liquor barrel to recover the alkali liquor. Outer drum, then moved to the discharge area, discharged from the centrifuge outlet, landed on the belt conveyor, and sent to the calcination process. Every 8 h of the centrifuge, wash the drum filter once to prevent the filter from being blocked due to long-term use of the filter. The washing time is 2 to 3 minutes.
2.2 Operation index Before 12, before heavy alkali water: 18% ~ 22t, after heavy centrifugal water ≤13%, drum motor current ≤97 A, oil pump motor current ≤77 A, oil temperature ≤55 ℃.
3 Several modifications of the centrifuge during commissioning and operation The main problems that arise during the commissioning and operation of the centrifuge are: too small feed volume, large vibration of the machine body, frequent trips, and blockage of the feed slide tube. After searching for reasons in many ways, and constantly exploring and debugging, I {/ Ix, / centrifuge mainly carried out the following technical transformations.
3.1 Increase the feed of the centrifuge
3.1.1 Transformation of feeding screw The feeding screw is changed from the original double screw to a single screw, which reduces the feeding resistance, increases the permeability of the feeding, and improves the feeding of the centrifuge.
3.1.2 Increase the feed screw speed from 71 rAnin to 85 rAnin, which determines the feed compliance.
3.1.3 Increasing the gap between the cloth funnel and the bottom of the drum The gap between the funnel and the bottom of the drum was originally designed to be 16 mm, which greatly restricted the material flow. After the improvement, it was 50 mm. The fabric funnel is thrown out, which improves the production capacity of the centrifuge.
3.1.4 Imported centrifuge slide tube lined with plastic plate due to the serious adhesion of alkali made of iron slide tube, it is easy to cause the blockage of the slide tube and the material "bridging" and so on, so the plastic liner is changed to avoid sticking alkali and at the same time Feeding is smooth.
3.2 Reducing the vibration of the body The vibration of the centrifuge is mainly caused by the uneven distribution of the materials on the drum. For this reason, we have reformed from the following aspects.
3.2.1 Renovation of the discharge baffle The original design of the centrifuge feed baffle can only be moved up and down, which makes the centrifuge feed difficult to control smoothly. After experiment and trial and error, the lead screw is installed on the baffle to remove the baffle up and down In addition to moving, you can also move back and forth. In this way, adjusting the feed is convenient and stable.
