Research on Green Circulation System of Packaging Engineering Based on Circular Economy Model (I)

The circular economy under the guidance of the scientific concept of development, as a new mode of economic development, has increasingly attracted people's attention. The packaging engineering system is an engineering system closely related to the circular economy. Packaging has a variety of complex, dynamic, scientific, artistic, and controversial business functions, and is an important part of the product. With the continuous expansion of the scale of international commodity exchange and the continuous advancement of science and technology, people are increasingly aware of the serious impact that commodity packaging has on the ecological environment. In order to protect human health and safety, it prevents damage to the environment and damage caused by mutual trade. Resources, international requirements for packaging have become more stringent and harsh and cumbersome. Packaging is no longer a traditional economic model to protect products, facilitate circulation, promote sales, and increase product added value. It is aimed at saving resources, protecting the environment, and optimizing packaging systems in a circular economy model. , products, and the environment are closely related to the friendly system. Packaging professionals must always be aware of the changes in consumer groups in order to better adapt to society. Otherwise, they cannot keep up with the progress of history. The cyclical economic development model provides a theoretical basis for the transformation of the traditional packaging economic model, and theoretically solves the contradictions of the limited resources and the continuous development of the packaging industry.

1. Circular economy model of packaging engineering system

Circular economy is a new type of economic development model. It is a large system composed of people, natural resources, and science and technology. It establishes the concept of circular production and consumption, requires the balanced development of the ecosystem, and pays more attention to the harmonious relationship between man and nature. The ability to simultaneously restrict the production and consumption of disposable products that use non-renewable resources as raw materials. The “Packaging Standards in China (General Fundamentals)” defines the packaging system as the industry formed by various specialized departments and institutions necessary for the completion of the entire packaging process. The packaging engineering system under the circular economy model can be interpreted as: It is all processes related to the related links involved in the entire life cycle of a package, and it relates to the circulation process of packaging products and the processing of packaging waste. Therefore, it includes product packaging functions, packaging and its elements, packaging design and manufacturing, packaging storage and circulation, environmental and green packaging, packaging waste and disposal, packaging ethics and regulations, export packaging and international packaging, packaging culture. With the deepening of the sustainable development strategy, more requirements for packaging are compatible with products, people, and the environment.

2. Comparison of the development of packaging economic model

In terms of the relationship between mankind and the environment, human society has experienced three modes in its economic development: the traditional economic model, the “End of Production Process” model, and the circular economy model. (See Table 1)
