As can be seen from the video posted on Babritz's personal blog, he wears Google glasses and can control the remote control aircraft to take off, turn, and land with a soft head.

He said that the application was developed to participate in the Nodebots Day annual conference, and the participants were fans of the node.js program control robot .

The program originally developed by Babritz was used to control the back and forth movement of the wheeled robot, and later the function of controlling the steering with the handle was added. However, he couldn't see the robot he was manipulating when he moved the head, so he wanted the controlled device to be at least at the eye level, so he switched to the remote-controlled aircraft NodeCopter.

Babritz said his code takes advantage of an application called Face. The app broadcasts sensor data via the WebSocket protocol, allowing Google Glass to control the airplane like a handle or remote. The left and right twisting heads can control the steering of the aircraft, and the takeoff and landing can be controlled by the A and B keys of Google Glass. He said: "You can develop interchangeable components by writing relatively little code in JavaScript."

Babriz has posted detailed code on his personal blog to allow other developers to control NodeCopter with Google Glass. He said that the problem now is that the plane will fly at full speed every time the hoe is smashed. In addition, he will add the function of controlling the steering of the aircraft according to the azimuth of Google glasses.
