Corrugated cardboard degumming has been a problem that has long plagued production lines. The degumming of cardboard is divided into degumming of inner paper, degumming of interlayer, and degumming of facial paper. Generally speaking, there is relatively less degumming of backing paper, but the probability of degumming of facial paper is relatively large. Degumming of facial paper will greatly affect the compressive strength of cardboard, and even scrapped, resulting in waste in production.

The degumming of facial tissue is also different: the common problem is that the large area of ​​the facial paper is poorly bonded, and there is degumming on the operation side and no degumming on the transmission side.

Reasons for large area degumming of facial tissue:

There are many reasons for the degumming of cardboard facial paper, among which the degumming of facial paper caused by improper pressing of the double-sided machine and temperature control is the most obvious.

1. Pressure plate:

There are many forms of pressure plate, such as air bag type pressure plate, gravity reel and so on. When the cardboard enters the double-sided machine ( hot plate ) , the pressure of the pressing plate against the cardboard is insufficient, resulting in the face paper not being fast and effective to be bonded with the tile paper, thus forming a degumming! Of course, the pressure should not be too heavy, otherwise it will cause the cardboard to crush.

During the bonding process of the cardboard, the canvas tape keeps the single-tile paper in contact with the middle paper first. The canvas belt is pressed by the front ballast roller. Only when the canvas belt is pressed continuously, the adhesion effect can be good, otherwise there will be a segment-like degumming phenomenon. At the same time, if the ballast roller jumps or shakes at the paper inlet of the hot plate, it will cause two adhesions of the cardboard during the adhesion process, resulting in poor adhesion.

2. Temperature

The temperature is mainly reflected in the control of the paste temperature. When the hot plate cannot provide the paste with an appropriate temperature, the paste will have two results: one is that the paste is gelled in advance, causing false sticking; the other is that the paste is not gelatinized , Resulting in weak bonding. Therefore, during production, it is necessary to check in time the temperature of the paste and the temperature transferred by the hot plate, whether it reaches the temperature required by the paper, so as to avoid poor adhesion of the cardboard.
