Aluminum foil ink:

At present, the printing of aluminum foil is mainly gravure coating printing. The ink used is mainly dye-based ink, which can be roughly divided into water-based ink, alcohol-soluble ink and ester-soluble ink.

Water-based ink:
It is based on water-based acrylic resin as a binder, mixed with dyes, water, and alcohol. It is obtained through mixing, color matching, and packaging. The main features are good environmental protection, strong adhesion, and can meet medium and high speed printing, and, in addition, the recovery of aluminum foil. It is good that the lye can completely dissolve the ink layer.

Alcohol soluble ink:
It is based on polyvinyl butyral (PVB) as a binder, mixed with dyes and alcohols, dissolved, mixed, matched with color, and packaged. The main feature is that the environmental protection is relatively strong, and the adhesion is strong, which can meet the low and medium speed. Printing, because PVB can not dissolve higher viscosity, can not be printed on the front (glossy) aluminum foil and easy to produce rainbow stripes.

Ester dissolving ink:
It is produced by dissolving, mixing, color matching and packaging with Chloroacetate resin or acrylic resin as the linking material, together with dyes and ethyl acetate. The main features are the high transfer property of the ink, high attachment fastness, and soft printing. Smooth, colorful, ink layer is good resistance to alcohol, suitable for high-speed gravure printing machine.
